These Terms govern madrank.ai (the "Service") and the optional usage plugin. By using the Service or enabling ranking, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What the Service is

madrank.ai publishes public rankings of real AI usage: a participant ranking and an LLM usage ranking, computed from anonymous daily aggregates reported by an optional plugin. Rankings describe recorded usage volume only. Usage Rank is not a capability ranking, benchmark, review, or endorsement, and it says nothing about quality, skill, or results.

Rankings cannot be bought. Placement is determined solely by reported usage. We may change, pause, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• Use the Service only as allowed by the laws that apply to you.

Usage Network rules

• Joining is optional and anonymous. Reports contain token counts per model — never conversations, prompts, or outputs.
• Report only real usage from your own machine. Do not forge reports, automate fake usage, manipulate counts, or bypass rate limits.
• We may flag, quarantine, exclude, or delete any data that fails integrity checks, with or without notice.
• You can stop participating at any time by disabling ranking in the plugin, and delete synced data at any time (see Privacy).

Public display

The board is public, including for search engines. It shows masked participant IDs and aggregate numbers by design. Model and provider names shown on the LLM ranking identify the respective owners; those names are trademarks of their owners, used only for identification, with no endorsement claimed or implied.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Numbers may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to USD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the Service: no scraping beyond ordinary browsing, no security testing without permission, no unlawful or infringing use, no impersonation, no reverse engineering except as allowed by mandatory law.

Termination

We may block access or exclude any participant for abuse, integrity failure, or legal risk.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where mandatory consumer law gives you rights that cannot be displaced, those rights remain yours.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The date at the top is the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

General

• If a part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
• Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
• These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement for the Service.
